Apperson, Eileen: Eileen lives in the San Joaquin Valley where she teaches composition and creative writing at a community college. She has a special interest in nature writing.

Arciniega, Herman: Herman is 18 years old and is a student at Benjamin Franklin High School in Los Angeles, Ca.

Colby, Joan: Joan lives in Elgin, Illinois.

Delira, Charles: Charles is 16 years old and is a student at Benjamin Franklin High School in Los Angeles, Ca.

Demaree, Robert: Now retired, Robert worked for 42 years as a teacher and administrator of independent school in Georgia, Louisiana. His Book Fathers and Teachers is in its second printing. He has been published in Cold Mountain Review, Mobius, and Pegasus.

Doyle, James: James’ latest book is Bending Under The Yellow Police Tape from Steel Toe Books. His poetry is featured on The Writer’s Almanac, American Life in Poetry, and Literature: An Introduction to Critical Reading (Prentice Hall).

Gaines, Robin: Robin has a M.A. from Michigan State University. Robin’s fiction has appeared in Porcupine, Oasis: A Literary Magazine, and Only a River Between Us. Robin is the winner of the Detroit Working Writers short story competition and an honorable mention in Current’s Magazine annual fiction contest.

Garcia, Julia: A closet poet for forty years, Julia is finally submitting her poetry for publication. She is a member of Poetry Santa Cruz and Written and Spoken Word at Vintage Faith. She lives in Santa Cruz, Ca.

Gullian, Marl: Marl is 16 years old and a student at Benjamin Franklin High School in Los Angeles, Ca.

Gulotta, Nicole: Nicole attended U.C. Santa Barbara and received her MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her poetry has recently appeared in The Birmingham Review and Spectrum. She lives in Santa Barbara, Ca.

Hoehn, Margaret J.: Her Poetry has appeared in Bellingham Review, Margie, and North American Review. She is the author of The Trajectory of Sunflowers. A finalist in the Central Coast Writers Contest, she lives in Sacramento, Ca.

Johnson, Calvin W.: Calvin currently teaches Physics in San Diego, Ca. He has been published in The Chiron Review and The New Delta Review.

Khaiyat, Mahdy: Mahdy started writing poetry in 1990. Mahdy has been published in periodicals in the U. S., Canada, Australia, and other countries. Mahdy holds a degree from U.C. Santa Barbara.

Levinson, Judith Ann: Of Micmac Indian descent, Judith holds degrees from Mt. Holyoke and Hollins College. Judith was the third Poet Laureate of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She has been published in The New Yorker, Princeton Review and The Poet’s Voice.

Niditch, B.Z.: Mr. Niditch is a poet, playwright, fiction writer and teacher. He has been published in numerous journals in the U.S. and Europe, such as Columbia: A Magazine of Poetry and Art; Le Guepard (France), Jejune (Czech Republic), and Leopold Bloom (Budapest).

O’Brien, Shari: Shari holds a Ph.D. from University of Michigan and Bowling Green State University and a law degree from the University of Toledo. She has been published in Illya’s Honey, 13th Moon, and The Chaffin Journal.

Parham, Robert: Robert’s chapter book What Part of Motion Plays in the Equation of Love won the Palaquin Competition. He was also a finalist for the Richard Snyder and the Marianne Moore poetry competitions. He is Dean of Arts and Sciences at Augusta State University, Ga.

Pettee, Dan: Dan is a former teacher and advertising manager. He had been published in Chicago Review, Amherst review and Evansville Review.

Poetry, Apollo: Apollo is an internationally-credited spoken word artist who has appeared on MTV’s True Life, VIBE Magazine, and Source Magazine and Showtime at Apollo. He has performed at 2007 Billboard Awards and is a national poetry champion. He lives in Prescott, Az.

Reeves, Robert Arthur: A part-time professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Central New Mexico Community College, Robert has been writing poetry since 1965. He has been published in Poesia, Caveat Lector, and The Chaffin Journal.

Romani, Marina: After thirty years of parenting, teaching and editing, Marina began working on a family memoir that led her back to what she most loved-writing poems. For the last three years she has been writing and sharing her work and began submitting to magazines this year. She lives in Monterey, Ca.

Salazar, Linda: Linda is 17 years old and is a student at Benjamin Franklin High School in Los Angeles, Ca.

Saldana, Steven: Steven is 16 and a student at Benjamin Franklin High School in Los Angeles, Ca.

Solorio, Miguel: Miguel is 17 and a student at Benjamin Franklin High School in Los Angeles, Ca.

Stuart, Jane: Jane lives in Greenup, Kentucky. She has been published in Sandcutters, Bear Creek Haiku, and The Poet’s Art.

Succre, Ray: Ray lives in southern Oregon. He has been published in Aesthetica, BlazeVOX, and Pank. His novel Tatterdemalion (Cauliay Publishing) is forthcoming in 2008.

Tinsley, Meg: Meg received her B.A. from Vassar College in English Literature and her M.A. in Somatic Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She has been published in Womanspeak and The Monterey Poetry Review. She lives in Carmel, Ca.

Tupper, Jeannine: Jeannine Tupper has worked as a magazine writer and editor, but her current love is writing poetry. A recipient of the Florence Poets Society Grand Prize, she recently published her first solo collection, Woman in Rainlight. She lives in Wrentham, Ma.
